With the initial market focus - consumer electronics
- StorCard can provide substantial value-added benefits
to a variety of consumer electronic devices. Industry
projections for the growing installed base and new
shipments for 2005 represents a very large market
opportunity (per Frost and Sullivan, Gartner Group and

In addition to the initial market opportunity,
StorCard will enable new applications in other large
markets:
Enterprise: An
increase of the U.S. mobile workforce to 106M in 2006.
StorCard can deliver portable, secure data and access to the
enterprises around the world.
Government:
Significant opportunities exist in the secure
border crossing applications (600 million border
crossings/year in U.S. alone), common driver
license cards (200M cards in U.S.) and
government ID cards (30M government Smart Cards
in U.S.) in both the U.S. and other countries
around the world.
Financial
Services: Over 8 Billion credit cards and
smart cards will be deployed in 2005. By
breaking current restrictions on storage
capacity, StorCard will enable new applications,
increase customer loyalty, improve personal
identity protection and help reduce the cost of
fraud.
Healthcare:
StorCard enables a complete patient medical
record in a secure portable format. X-rays,
medical and dental records, and a complete
history of prescriptions can be stored on a
single card, lowering health-care costs and
